Garden Development

Greenaway Architects produced this concept plan for the garden in 2020. 

We hope to work through stages with interested members, and with some local contractors if funding becomes available.

9/11/2023 bed layout so far. 7 beds started.

5 Aug 2021  Install solar lights, CCTV

3 Aug 2021 Deborah start planting Norman Dean west garden.

23 July 2021  Power (Red Energy) connected. 

1 July 2021  Shire arranged for the corroded water mains plumbing to be replaced.

8 June? New Shire councillors visit the garden site.

20 Oct 2020  Agreed on a concept plan by Greenaway Architects. 

29 May  Signed a lease with Corangamite Shire for the old Croquet Club site at 30 -34 William St, Lismore.

27 May: Committee discussed a concept plan with Jefa Greenaway of Greenaway Architects.

14 May: Received funding from Reconciliation Victoria for design of a Concept Plan for the garden.

24 March. Murnong Indigenous Garden Inc has been approved to lease the 30 William St site (old croquet club) for a display garden and visitor centre.

8 Feb 2020 Murnong Indigenous Garden Inc. group formed.
