Situated along the boundary with the Bowling club. This is well drained sandy soil getting plenty of morning sun but afternoon shade and shelter from the wind. It hosts a range of shrubs which are edible or attractive to insects and birds.
Norman Dean donated the land to the Returned Servicemen Bowling Club.

This bed hosts a variety of plants which are of interest to birds and insects. Some are traditionally used for food, fibre and medicine.
