At 2pm Saturday 16th our video recorded this lady pulling up several interesting native plants and walking out with them. She knew what she was looking for. Police have the full video.

27 May 2022 We held a "Meet the Neighbours" session around a campfire (on a foggy Sunday morning) About 12 hardy souls came along for a chat and a warm drink. In the photo we listen to an update on the progress of the garden
30 Jan 2022 We had our first serious working bee. We installed some beds, planted kangaroo grass and yam daisies, and had a good time!

10 July 2021 Locals gathered on chilly Saturday morning at Murnong Indigenous Garden in Lismore to celebrate NAIDOC week.
Aunty Eleanor Bourke opened our celebration with Welcome to Country, followed by local resident Debra Morice who spoke of the life of early Aboriginal activist William Cooper.
We then heard of the plans to develop this Murnong Garden, then settled in for a warm cup of tea and a chat over Mel's tasty wattleseed Anzac biscuits!

29 May Signed a lease with Corangamite Shire for the old Croquet Club site at 30 -34 William St, Lismore.
27 May: Committee discussed a concept plan with Jefa Greenaway of Greenaway Architects.
14 May: Received funding from Reconciliation Victoria for design of a Concept Plan for the garden.
