Salem, Oregon

The City of Salem  is the capitol city of the State of Oregon, located at a bend in the Willamette River in the mid-Willamette Valley about fifty miles from the Oregon Coast and on the 45th parallel.  It is a great place to live and raise a family with relatively mild weather and plenty of green all year round. 

There are plenty of churchs in Salem and the other major cities in the state yet Oregon remains one of the least churched populations per capita of all the states in the Union.    Salem is no exception to this statistic and the challenge is before us to reach out to those who are lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is truly a field in need of workers.
