Resurrection Sunday

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

What Happens When You Surrender

Luke 23:39-43 KJV

And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. The two malefactors represented the two categories f people on earth, believing and the unbelieving. Conviction is a prerequisite of salvation manifesting in first being pricked in heart after hearing the Word, the Gospel, preached.

Sinners Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I realize that my life reflects I have tried to live without relationship with you. I confess I am a sinner and I ask you to forgive me Father, for my sins. It is by faith in You and Your Word, I believe I can receive your Salvation. Come into my life, save me, and cleanse me from unrighteousness. Father, I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart, that Jesus is the son of God and the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the word. I further believe the same Resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead, can quicken my soul as well. Save me now, Lord, fill me with the Holy Spirit, and give me the gift of life abundant and life eternal. In Jesus name, Amen.
