Meditate Upon the Word
Take a few moments and ponder how these scriptures resonate with your spirit today by writing in your journal how you will trust God during these perilous times.
Oh, for Grace to Trust God More
You have sang the hymn, “tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His Word. Just to rest upon His promise, just to know thus saith the Lord.”
Trusting God in times like these is paramount. If ever there was a time your trust in the Lord is put to the test, is now.
The Bible tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. So trust. These perilous times are very much like the journey through the “valley of the shadow of death.” But Psalm 23 assures us that He is with us so we should fear no evil.
Prayer
Father, we thank you for the richness of your mercy. We ask that you will give unto us the Spirit of Wisdom and revelation, so that we may know Jesus Christ, our Lord better. Open the eyes of our heart that we may be enlightened in order that we may know the hope to which You, Lord, have called us as a Saint, a disciple, and a child of God.
Lord let us know and experience your incomparably great power shown toward us while we exercise our belief in You and Your grace through the same power, the Holy Spirit’s power that raised Jesus from the dead. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
