Conferences

Each spring, qUALMS hosts two conferences showcasing undergraduate research in linguistics and related fields.

• • The Great Lakes Expo for Experimental and Formal Undergraduate Linguistics (GLEEFUL) is an international undergraduate conference. Programs and information for all years of GLEEFUL are available online.

  • The Michigan State Undergraduate Linguistics Conference (MSULC) is an undergraduate conference for Michigan State University students. Programs and information for all years of MSULC are also available online.

Both conferences are open to the public, and feature oral presentations and poster presentations as well as keynote speakers from around the country.

MSU undergraduates can also present their research at the University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum (UURAF), which is not affiliated with qUALMS but is held around the same time of year.
