Points: 100 – Each team member will receive the same grade for the project
Final Product: 1) Teams will produce an answer booklet or poster for your room which includes handy facts and tools which were in arriving at the correct solution, such as formulas, calculator hints and test-taking strategies; 2) Teams will create a short (under 5 minute) presentation to explain the most difficult problem chosen and produce a videoto be uploaded on the Class Website.
Class work Time: You will be given a total of four class periods to work on your project - Tuesday and Thursday of this week and next. You will receive class work points for each day based on your work on the project
Teams: Maximum 4 per team, you may work as an individual, however the work load will be the same.
· Each team will choose and solve 25 problems from the June 2008 Integrated Algebra Exam.
· 20 problems can be multiple choice.
· 5 problems must be 2, 3, or 4 points
· All problems must show the following in your Regents Booklet (you will create it )
o Correct Answer
o All steps taken to arrive at the correct answer
o Steps used on the graphing calculator
o Algebraic property (properties) used, ie distributive property, FOIL
o Error analysis - common mistakes and tips to avoid errors in judgment or execution
