Unit 2: Forces and Motion

Unit 2: Forces and Motion:

This unit focuses on Motion (reference point, speed, velocity, acceleration) and Forces (Types of forces, Drawing Force Arrow Diagrams, and calculating net force). We will collect data for objects that speed up, slow down, and stay at a constant speed and then analyze why these objects had this motion. While working on this unit we will continue to strengthen our skills learned from unit 1. The culminating project will be the Balloon Powered Car Project. Students will be required to create a Unit 2 website to centralize all of their notes. These notes should be used to complete the homework accurately and to study for the weekly quizzes and tests.
