Unit 1: Scientific Investigation

This unit focuses on the scientific method. We will be working on creating a testable question, hypothesis writing, writing good procedures, collecting quantitative data, graphing the quantitative data, analyzing the data, and writing a good conclusion. The culminating project, which will assess if students are able to design a valid experiment with accurate results, will be their choice of a Launch Experiment Students will be required to create a page on their google website to centralize all of their notes and documents for this Unit including the Launch Experiment. The Unit Notes will help students complete these required tasks as well as provide information to study for test and quizzes.
