Our 1st year! 4th and 5th graders learned to design in TinkerCad and use the glowforge to cut out designs. We also learned how to design in google slides and cut out stickers for our Chromebooks.
With the help of a parent volunteer, we hosted "makerspace" time during the day where students could come build and create using our supplies. Rubber band bracelets and wooden craft sticks projects were our top hits!

The pandemic challenged our way of thinking in the makerspace. Student still designed, however we added more virtual design options so all students including our 100% virtual students could participate in projects. We added stamping projects this year! Our building accommodated 5th and 6th grade students. this year. We focused on Paper Engineering and attachment techniques with supplies student could find easily at home.
