Suggestion for buying supplies:
Drawing students might consider having vine charcoal, 2B, 4B, and 6B, compressed charcoal, white charcoal, conte crayon or sanguine, a set of soft pastels.
Painting students may want to invest in a sketchbox that holds personal brushes, paint mediums, etc. We will primarily paint in watercolor and acrylic with the hope that we can get in some water soluble oils. They also need a smock of some sort (or apron). Painting students may also need some vine charcoal and at least 4B.
The sketchbook/research journal is THE most important of all. (yes the sketchbook is the research journal).
