Welcome!

Hello, I am Mrs. Yoo, and this is our class website.  Here you will find links to all of your online class resources as well as news and announcements pertaining to your course.  This year I will be teaching Chemistry and the Introductory course to the Industrial Engineering & Technology pathway, and coaching the Science Olympiad Team.  I look forward to working with all of you and if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email me or stop by my room (MS9).

I am a Mid-Pacific graduate and have a Bachelors in Chemistry from Pepperdine University.  I worked in California as a pharmaceutical scientist before returning home to Oahu to teach science at McKinley High School back in 2012 and 2013.  I took a break from teaching to consult in the pharmaceutical industry for a couple years before I began teaching at Mid-Pacific.  While there I was the head coach of the Science Olympiad team and converted my teaching style to a video based flipped classroom.  I obtained my Masters in Education from Hawaii Pacific University and have decided to continue my teaching career at McKinley High School.
