All About Me

Hello! My name is Heather Silva and I will be your child's first grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. I have been teaching for almost 18 years now and have had a lot of experience teaching first grade. I am happy to say that this is my seventh year teaching in Longmeadow. I am extremely excited to be a part of the Center School community and I look forward to working with your children this school year.

My Education

I have lived in Western Massachusetts since I was in elementary school and grew up in the town of Agawam, Massachusetts. For my undergraduate degree, I attended Westfield State University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, as well as my Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

My Family

I have been married for over 17 years now to my husband, Phil. Together we have three beautiful children, Giuliana (14), and twin boys, Anthony and Vincent (11). We also have a six year old golden retriever named Charlie and our five year old cat, Charlotte.

Hobbies: Dancing, Spending time with family and friends, Reading and Scrapbooking
