Classroom Rules

Classroom Management Plan

Classroom Rules:

(Rules are in addition to the rules in place by the school district)

1. Show respect to others by not talking out, making noise, disrupting the class, or being defiant to the teachers.

2. Keep hands, feet, all objects, and unkind words to yourself.

3. Use study halls to complete assigned work for the day.

4. Gum and candy are not allowed in class unless under special circumstances where permission is granted by the teacher.

5. Be prepared for all classes with appropriate and requested supplies/materials.

Consequences:

1. The student will receive a verbal warning and/or moved from the normal seating arrangement.

2. The student will receive a mark in the Classroom Discipline Book. (After an accumulation of 3 marks in a one week time period, the student will receive a 30 minute after school detention following a one day notice.)

3. In cases of major disruptions or repeated offenses, the teacher reserves the right to give an immediate detention with a one day notice.

4. Repeated offenses or severe disruptions will result in an immediate detention or a direct referral to the principal.
