Science 9

Welcome to Science 9. This course will require a lot of hard work, lots of practice and even more review! So make sure you set aside a certain time and place at home that is routine for review and homework/practice. It is very important that you keep up with the course material and to do this you will need to work hard consistently EVERY DAY. This means not only doing homework assignments, but also going back and reviewing previous material.

Attendance is very important, every time you miss class or even a portion of it, you are missing out on important information and it is very hard to get caught up on your own. It is YOUR responsibility to find out what you missed (check this website) and learn that material on your own by reading the textbook and workbook for the section that you missed and doing the questions that were assigned for that day.

Don't forget you will have a final exam at the end of the course so you have to learn and retain the information all semester long. Hope you enjoy this course, Good Luck!

Test Policy

All students are expected to write tests on the scheduled date and time. In the event of an unanticipated absence, DIRECT communication with the

teacher is expected, via phone call (604-581-4433 ext. 2116) or email (jhaj_sabrina@surreyschools.ca), PRIOR TO THE MISSED TEST.
