Math 8

Welcome to Math 8. It will take lots of hard work, time and PRACTICE to succeed in this course. This means that EVERY DAY you will need to do lots of math questions (practice) to ensure that you are keeping up with the class. Concepts in math build upon previously learned material, so you have to keep up to move forward and also go back and review what we have already learned. You will be having cumulative exams to promote the review of material we have already learned and to ensure that you are prepared for your final exam.

You will get out of this course as much as you put in, so get ready to work hard, and do this consistently. I suggest you set aside a routine time and place at home where/when you work on math. Best wishes this semester!
