Earth Science Board Game - You will be given class time to work with your group to make this and have it ready to be played on Friday. You will be peer assessing each game after you play it.

1. Earth Science Game Project: Due Thurs or Friday (depends on where you all get by Wed)

Thurs or Fri: all games have to be done so that each group can play your game and do a peer assessment

-Divide content vocab among all 4 of you so each person is responsible for 11 or 12 words

-Come up with board game design and rules for 4 players

-Include easy to understand instructions on/beside your game

-Look at rubric to ensure you don't forget anything!

2. If you finished early you practiced conclusion writing: What was the experiment, what were your results, did this match your hypothesis, why do you think this happened, how can you improve the experimental design for next time?

-It is a research-backed way to study for any class

-You organize your questions by slide number and put them in front of your notes

-You create questions about the key points/definitons on each slide that there is information from your notes (think like a teacher)

1. Today we did notes on how to read measurements on equipment with scales and we learned about common science equipment

1.Sponge Bob story: identified safety mistakes in the story. We did this in class.

2. Safety worksheet pkg 2.1. We will mark the multiple choice section at the start of class tomorrow.  Please finish the pkg by tomorrow if you are not all done. 

3. Lab Safety Map: Due tomorrow at the start of class. Please staple the criteria sheet with your first & last name, date and block to the map before you hand it in. 

Mon Feb 6

1. Today we learned about common safety equipment (done in class) and we marked Friday's safety worksheet.

2. Finish safety map: Due wed. Staple criteria sheet to your map and make sure your name, date and block are clearly visible. Keep in your binder until the start of Wed's class.

Fri Feb 3

1. Yellow Forms need to get read and  signed (both sides!)by parents and return tomorrow

2. Today we did notes on Safety using the textbook, these should be done in class

3. Finish the worksheet "Get to know my classroom/science safety", we will mark this at the start of class on Monday

4. Safety map is NOT HOMEWORK, you will have Monday and Tuesday class time to work on this. Safety map due: Wednesday at the start of class.
