Explore the data tool. Look at different kinds of data, different times and places: whatever interests you.

Pick a data set. Download it as a spreadsheet.

Find the mean and standard deviation for at least two variables. Look for outliers.

Type up your findings:

State what data you looked at.
Show your calculations for deciding if there were outliers.
Write a paragraph (at least five sentences) describing what you saw in the data: interesting trends, outliers, etc.
