History Through Film

We're going to start with two films of MY choice, The Truman Show and The Player. Not about history per se, but appropriate nonetheless. After that, however, I'm going to open up the remainder of the course to you and have you all choose what topics in history you would like to learn about and view through the lens of historical films (see what I did there?).
