General Rules & Information
1. NO DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS IN CAMP AREA and no target practice on the lease during Hunting Season. We are looking into making a place to shoot if you miss and think your scope is off. This place will not be open to just go shoot for any reason during deer season.
2. Locked Gate Rule. Please keep the gates locked at all times. Exception: Members during Hunting Season may leave the Main Camp gate open or closed but unlocked during typical times when other Members are traveling to and from their stands. All other gates must be locked after you go in and again when you come back out. The gates off of Pine Ridge Cemetery and Massey Cemetery Roads will have different combinations on them due to those gates being left open all the time. Use the gates off Beards Crossing to access lease at all time. President and Vice President will be the only 2 that know the combinations to all other gates. Do not leave the combination on locks at any time and always scramble the numbers after you unlock it.
3. Please show courtesy when traveling by others stands and try to avoid disturbing other Members. During Rifle Season avoid excessive riding during prime hunting hours (daylight to 9:30 am and 3:30 pm until dark). Do not ride ATV’s during these time periods except going to and from stands. No excessive riding throughout the lease during hunting season. If you must check cameras or repair feeders/stands, please do so immediately following the morning hunt to avoid riding the lease during the day. The deer need a break from all of the human traffic on the roads during the day between hunting hours. (There may be exceptions to this rule but they must first be approved by the President or Vice President beforehand).
4. Beginning with Bow season please observe Daylight to 9:30am and 3:30 pm until dark. Please apply this not only to driving but to also working on stands food plots or anything that could disturb the hunters. Members will be allowed to work on their stands and mow spots between 9:30am and 3:30pm.
5. At no time is any member allowed to travel around gates get out and open them. You are only showing people that are not supposed to be there easy ways on the lease. If your caught you will be removed from the club no exceptions.
6. Trash and litter is a problem. Everyone, please clean up your campsites and stand area and help keep roads and gate areas clean.
7. Members shall not abuse existing private roads, pipelines or fire lanes by the use of vehicles during wet condition. Motor bikes and four-wheelers may be used in the club, but RMS may prohibit them if they cause needless damage. President may if needed restrict inner lease traffic to ATV only if roads are getting to bad for vehicle travel.
8. Food plots on side roads or pipelines are subject to being crossed by other members. Disking of main roads is prohibited and you must leave an access area to cross the food plot.
9. Guest are allowed to hunt on our club after Thanksgiving weekend there will be no exceptions to this rule.
10. We will have 2 work weekends every year and each member must attend at least 1 or will be subject to a 100$ fine by club that must be paid before you will be allowed to hunt.
11. ALCOHOL on this club is fine in camp. No ALCOHOL outside of the camp at any time what so ever. If you are caught out on the club or in camp area intoxicated and with a firearm your membership shall be revoked and not be reconsidered the following year with no exceptions. This includes year round not just deer season.
12. All members are required to provide contact information to the club which includes Name, Address, and an E-mail Address. These three criteria are required per RMS rules.
13. Moscow Hunting Club nor RMS is responsible for lost or stolen items. You leave your stuff at your own risk. At no time will RMS or the club be liable to replace lost or stolen items.
