1. Hunting campsite - a temporary campsite on which one or more temporary structures can be located. All personal property used for camping will be removed after each visit.
2. Seasonal campsite - a semi-permanent campsite used only from Sept.1 thru Jan.31st on which one or more temporary camp structures can be located. Personal camp property may be left on seasonal campsite during the use period but all such personal property must be removed on or before Jan. 31st. Moscow Hunting Club must declare their number of campsites to RMS at their annual July 1 renewal date. Each camping structure that will remain past the seasonal campsite definition incurs a $300.00 per camping structure fee ($100 late fee, $200 campsite fee) if not declared in the July 1 renewal. This fee must be paid to club by Feb. 1st for existing members. As of 2017, new members will not be allowed to leave their campers on Moscow Hunting Club campsites. Fees incurred by RMS are too much of a liability to the club moving forward. All campers others than the six currently grandfathered must be removed by Jan 31 yearly or incur a $300 fee due Feb 1 of each year.
3. Permanent Campsite - a permanent campsite that can be used year round on which one or more temporary structures can be located. Hunters may leave personal camp property on the campsite year round. The cost for a permanent site fee is $200.00 per camping structure. All campsites will be kept in a clean and orderly fashion. Healthful and attractive conditions are subject at all times to inspection by RMS.
4. Members shall not use the campsite for any of the following reasons:
a) Place any permanent structure on the property. Including any mobile home, manufactured home, modular home, prefabricated temporary building or other structure brought into the property of a permanent or semi-permanent nature.
b) Occupy as a permanent or semi-permanent residence. There shall be no pouring, bringing in or creating concrete slabs, and do not fix any object with nails/fasteners to trees.
6. There shall be no gasoline, charcoal starter, oils or other flammables stored at campsites except for immediate temporary use associated with hunting or recreation. No such materials shall be stored at any campsite at any time when the campsite is not in use.
7. Vehicles and trailers of any type or kind including automobiles, trucks, trailers, or other vehicles utilized or located upon the campsite at any time shall be state licensed and registered, fully operational and capable of immediate removal upon notice.
8. All campsites are to be marked by a sign with members name and member number.
9. All campsites prior to being left after the end of season, must be clean and orderly. If your site is not to be considered clean you will be subject to a 100$ fine by the club that must be paid before your membership is renewed.
10. If there is a question if a certain spot is actually a campsite, get with the President to check. Some members have cleared out around their camp area to make it more spacious and is not a designated camping area.
11. If you intend on leaving the club, you must pull your camper out for good and you must clean-up and remove any trash or belongings brought to the lease prior to leaving the club. In years past the club has been left with the burden of cleaning up after exiting members and this will not be tolerated.
12. As of 2014, when you pull your camper out of the lease or if you choose to leave it there all year, your campsite must be free of any belongings including but not limited to chairs, barbeque pits, tables, and tarps. Decks and generator sheds are fine to leave but everything else must be picked up or removed per RMS rules. No deer stands or deer feeders may be left in camp after hunting season per RMS.
13. You will be responsible and liable for anything that you bring into the camp. Do not leave the club and try to leave a junk camper behind. RMS is getting tired of this problem and will seek other means to remove, or have exiting members pay to remove the camper. Basically if your camper is a piece of junk, don't bring it out there if you don't plan on taking it with you when you leave.
14. As of 2014, any new members that join the club must have the camper seen by either the club President or Vice President before it can be left. This can be done by photos or in person before leaving it. If it’s seen as a camper that could be abandoned on the club it will not be allowed to be brought in or left.
