A Capital Components Reserve Study was conducted in 2021 to determine how much should be set aside in a reserve fund. The study determined that a substantial capital component reserve budget for specific capital components is not necessary for the Association, but that a modest reserve for capital component repair, replacement and restoration would be prudent and sufficient. The conclusion of the Study was the Recommendation to build up a reserve fund to 30% to cover potential shortfalls in revenue or to address large unexpected expenses for road maintenance or snow removal.
