Metric and style - broken verse, neighboring rhyme.
Linguistic effects – the asonans of the vowels “и, е, а”; the anaphor (repetition at the beginning) in the first verse as well as the rhetorical question there; the metaphor – “a sparklet of love”, the alliteration of the consonants “р,ж”.
Relation to the subject of study: The first verse of the poem describes times when heroes in war were injured and punished without guilt and our compassion to them. It is followed by the second verse of the poem, which is an appeal for peaceful days, friendly behavior and kindness to those in need and all the others.
