The Moodle User Group Greater London (MUGGL) is a community focused on sharing authentic practice in and beyond Moodle.
Established in 2011, MUGGL is primarily made up of Moodle administrators and developers working in universities within the M25 area of London. However, the group is open to anyone in the Greater London area who uses Moodle as part of their everyday job. This includes colleagues outside Higher Education, such as those working in private institutions that also use Moodle. Membership by vendors is restricted to protect the practical, practice-sharing culture of the community.
This site supports our termly face-to-face meetings by providing a space to continue discussions and share practice. It includes details of previous and upcoming meetings, shared Moodle documentation, and a discussion forum.
Our main activities are termly meetings held three times a year, usually lasting around three hours. These meetings often follow a theme, and members are invited to present on related topics. The meetings also provide an open space for members to bring any Moodle questions they may have, no question is too small!
We are also exploring additional ways for members to collaborate, share experiences, offer mutual support, and build collective knowledge.
