Welcome to MUGGL
The Moodle User Group Greater London (MUGGL) is a community focussed on sharing authentic practice about and beyond Moodle.
MUGGL was established in 2011. Most members are Moodle administrators and developers based in the universities within the M25 area of London, but MUGGL is open to anyone in the Greater London area who uses Moodle as part of their every day job. This includes people who aren't working in Higher Education and are working for a private institution that might also use Moodle, although membership fo the group by vendors is restricted, to protect the direct practice- and sharing-focussed culture of the community.
This site is used to supplement termly face-to-face meetings to continue the discussions and sharing of practice. It contains details about previous and forthcoming meetings, shared documentation about Moodle and a discussion forum.
Our primary activities are termly meetings held 3 times a year, which usually last around 3 hours. Often these meetings follow a theme and members of the group are given the opportunity to present on topics from that theme. The meetings are also a space to bring any Moodle questions you may have to the group - no question is too small! We are working on exploring other types of activities and ways members can work together to share practice and experiences, provide mutual support and create collective knowledge.
Not a member? If you are a Moodle user in London join MUGGL.
