Layout Overview

The railroad originally existed as a 4’ x 6’ cookie-cutter layout that fit under a double bed in an apartment. Later, I expanded to the maximum possible size in a basement bedroom in a townhouse. Constructing the benchwork in a set of modules facilitated one final move, to its present location. The layout is now about 12' x 16'.
