Railfanning

We've had some fun times railfanning in California, Maryland, Ohio, Kansas, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Here are some photos that capture not just the trains, but the times together.

My son had a fabulous week at the RailCamp hosted by the National Railroad Historical Society, with access to a lot of facilities that adults can't see.

On family trips, the saying about detours is, "If you see a train, it's not a wrong turn."

At Bowie State MARC station, on the Northeast Corridor, just before torrential downpours came in.

At Odenton MARC station. That's a ballast regulator on the right.

A few years ago at Horseshoe Curve. We also stopped at Gallitzin Tunnels.
