Being a part of a guild means you get to share your resources or request
resources from your guild members. This helps speed things up as you
can upgrade your buildings quicker or do your tech with less difficulty in
gather resources.
Most good guilds will have a bank system where you can send resources to
when you have excess or ask for resources when your doing a large upgrade.
Working as a team means you all grow quicker compared to working on your own.
