What is expected of each swimmer:
Do not let your teammate down.
Communication: Team schedules are posted a month in advance. Conflicting engagement must be brought to the attention of the coaching staff by email Two weeks prior to each missed meet/game
Attendance: Team Calendar are posted before the season starts. Conflicting engagement must be brought to the attention of the coaching staff ASAP! (by email)
Commitment: Depending on your skill level, the coaching staff will assign a work out schedule. If you want to be a part of the team, it should be a priority to be at practice regularly. If you do not have your pink slip turned in, you are not excused from practice. No Individual is above the expectations of the team. IF YOU DON'T PUT IN THE SAME EFFORT AND COMMITMENT AS THE REST OF THE TEAM, YOU WILL NOT BE A PART OF THE TEAM!.
Attitude: Everyday will be difficult, push your limits of your comfort zone daily.
Behavior: Just remember this simple rule - "Would my parents allow me to act like this?" first a verbal warning will be issued, followed by a written warning issued to your parents. Dismissal from the team will result after the third offense.
Train with the team: if you are disruptive to the rest of the team, you will be asked to leave practice. Three times will lead to dismissal from the team.
Appearance: At swim meets, your Team Parka, an appropriate shorts or pants and team shirt will be worn. NO CUT OR ALTERED TEAM SHIRTS WILL BE ALLOWED!
Academics: Forged grade checks will lead to dismissal from the team on the first offense. Study hall is mandatory for Academic Probation (GPA below 2.0 or a failing grade in a core class.) *Check schedules for dates and times.
Responsibilities: If something is mandatory, you must complete the task. If something is due, turn it in on time! NO EXECEPTIONS!
Parents Meeting: This is a Mandatory requirement for each team member. Each student athlete who is a minor under the age of 18 must be attending with a parent/guardian.
Community Service projects: These are Mandatory requirements to receive your varsity letter.
School clean up: Activity TBA
Pool Clean up: Actvity TBA
Lunch Duty: Everyone must work your assignments in order to remain on the team.
Transportation: Most meets will be your responsibility for transportation. Make your arrangements two weeks prior to each meet. We will get only get bus transportation for swim meets on Friday afternoons immediately after school. For Bus Transportation, EVERYONE MUST RIDE THERE AND BACK! NO EXCEPTIONS
Leave everywhere better than when you arrived.

Team Attendance points policy:
3 POINTS AWARDED FOR EACH PRACTICE ATTENDED.
MINUS 1 point for NOT being at practice and ready to start on time.
MINUS 1 point for NOT completing the entire practice
MINUS 1 point for NOT contributing at practice
All missed practices must be documented!
Parents must be carbon copied on your e-mailed notification to BOTH coaches prior to the Start of practice.
