2023 to 2024 Program Schedule
The Mid-Michigan Knitters Guild exists as a place for knitters of all skill levels to gather together, to learn from each other and to give back to the community. We meet the 3rd Tuesday evening of every month from September to May at the Haslett Administration Building located at 5593 Franklin St; Haslett, MI 48840

We gather at 6:30 pm for social time. The business meeting begins at 7:00 pm followed by the formal presentation at 7:30 pm. We are usually done by about 9:00pm.
We have a year of great programs planned! We'll hear wonderful speakers, be inspired by each other's projects and learn new skills.

We will end this program year with our annual spring potluck. Bring a dish to pass; table service will be provided. Elections and all end-of-the-year business will also be addressed at this meeting.
Charity: Completing the lap robes. Bring your tapestry needles and size H crochet hooks to help put lap robes together.

Join us for our annual winter potluck and charity knitting contest. Bring a dish to pass; table service will be provided.
Charity: Bring hats and pairs of mittens you’ve made to donate to Haslett Elementary Schools. Donations earn you a raffle ticket for goodies.

Mosaic Knitting with Debbie Warmaar
Debbie will cover the basics of mosaic knitting and the type of projects it is suited for. PLEASE BRING:
Ideal: 2 solid colors of worsted-weight or DK-weight cotton yarn (10+ yards each of leftovers will do!) and a set of needles to match.
No cotton at home? No problem! Just bring 2 solid colors of the identical weight yarn and a set of needles to match.

Hats & Mittens for Haslett. Our way of thanking the Haslett Schools for letting us use their facility. There will be prizes and gift certificates for knitting hats and mittens. The more you knit, the more chances at prizes. (mittens count as 2 items).
