Carol Densmore’s passion of farm yarns began when the first small flock of sheep started to graze the pastures at Cross Wind Farm. The fiber animals, farm chores, new lambs, shearing, and selective breeding involved with the production of these yarns are a grass roots fiber story. Carol will bring a wide variety of samples at each stage of the yarn making process. This presentation will take you through yarn making from pasture to purl stitch.
