Happy New Year!

I want to thank all of the guild members who participated in December’s contribution to the charity collection for the Haslett Schools.  Your generosity, skills and spirit were AMAZING! In the end we had just over 100 items donated. You will have warmed many heads and hands in the coming winter weather. Big applause for your efforts! Upcoming charity collections for the rest of our season:

• • February’s meeting: We will be collecting men’s chemo caps for Sparrow hospital.  (As stated earlier in the season, there is usually a good amount of donated caps, but men often get over looked.)

  • March’s meeting:  To pull you out from the winter doldrums or to take advantage of cabin fever – we will have a small cat mat contest. There will be minor prizes based on categories.  Mats will be donated to Capitol Area Humane Society.

I will look into specifics needed for these collections and give them at our next meeting.  I when I get more information I will post additional information below.
