Marching Band

The Methacton Warrior Marching Band is a highly competitive and successful ensemble. The MWMB has won many Local, State, Regional and National awards. The MWMB is the Outback Bowl National Field Show 2016 Champion and the 2018 Liberty Bowl Runner-up.

The Marching Band Season begins in April with a Kick-Off meeting.

• There is a Mini Camp in June after school is out.

• During the summer we frequently rehearse on Tuesday nights to build essential skills.

• Mandatory rehearsals and performances begin in August with Band Camp, which runs the two weeks prior to the start of the school year.

• Rehearsals during the season are on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-9pm

• The MWMB performs at every Football Game and competes on several Saturdays leading up to Championships, which will take place on the second weekend in November.

There are NO prerequisites for joining Marching Band. We will teach you what you need to know. Never played an instrument? No problem. There is a spot for you! AND....there are no "bench warmers" or substitutes. If you want to join, you are IN!
