Volunteer Opportunities: How can you help?

Did you know that the Methacton Music Boosters' budget helps pay for the sheet music, royalties and instructors' salaries for Methacton's music programs?

Here is how you can help MMB raise funds that support these important programs:

Concessions Stand at Methacton Home Football Games

This is our biggest source of income...also our biggest need for volunteer help. There will be individual sign-up sheets for each home game. 8-10 volunteers per game is ideal.

Duties: Sell food/drinks inside stand for the duration of the football game. Clean up afterwards.

Personel: minimum of 3-4 best with 4-6 volunteers during the game

Competition Chaperones / Equipment Handlers

For all away competitions. There will be individual sign-up sheets for each competition. (3-4 chaperons per trip.)

Duties:

• Accompany the Marching Band in away competitions. Ride the bus or drive yourself.

• Assist with instrument transportation on and off the field.

• Help ensure students are safe

• You get into the competition for free!

Senior Banquet Coordinator or Assitant

Bag Bingo Coordinator

Friday Night Pre-Game Dinner – Coordinator/s

Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser Coordinator/s (hopefully returning soon!)

Duties:

• Schedule event

• Obtain parent/student volunteers to work event

• Oversee operations the day of the event

Band Uniform Coordinator/s

Duties:

• Organize parent volunteers to help

• Schedule student fittings prior to the start of marching band season

• Send uniforms out for cleaning at end of season and organize uniforms upon return

• Ensure that all uniforms are accounted for and in good order

Coordinator of Corporate /Private Donations

• Investigate and contact companies that might make donations or donate food or other items
