MITE's adult classes are BACK for 2025-2026!
And as we had a waiting list last season,
our Spotlight group is going back on the road!

MITE Spotlight:
The MITE-y Musical Jackpot Tour!

This season, be of service to seniors while having fun performing! Starting with one show in December and continuing until the spring of 2026, we're spending select Friday evenings touring Long-Term Care homes in the Dartmouth/Halifax area with our popular, live "radio show"!
Tuesdays, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
September 16th - December 2nd
10 weeks/20 hrs.
no classes Sept. 30th or Nov. 11th
Dress rehearsal Tuesday, December 2nd, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
$180 (returning students: $160)
class maximum: 14 participants
Please note that to participate in this group, you are signing on for a commitment to tour into 2026 from mid-February to late-May, which will also involve joining MITE Spotlight on Tuesday evenings from mid-January to mid-March (8 weeks, 8 hours, with an additional fee of $80 for returning students.)

Reservations/Registration

Registration begins Wednesday, August 27th, 2025
Registration forms (emailed to you once you reserve your spot)
and payment (e-transfer, cash or cheque) are due the first meeting of the session.
MITE Theatre started as a volunteer and service organization.
If you would like to participate but cost is a factor, please reach out - we may be able to help.

Location for all classes: North Woodside Community Centre
230 Pleasant Street Dartmouth, NS
Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes and clothing (movement will be part of every class!)
All MITE -y Musical Jackpot performance groups (youth and adult) will perform together
at a variety of locations on select Friday evenings
(one show in December, then from mid-February - late May).
If there are illness concerns or if there is a scheduling conflict, we reserve the right to replace cast members for certain shows.

For MITE's Spotlight program, term fees include some costume pieces,
script/lyric printing, and head shots (if applicable).
Family members can attend shows for free! For our touring shows, you will be advised prior to show time
if the performance venue cannot accommodate guests.

MITE follows provincial health guidelines and recommendations for COVID-19 safety. Depending on those guidelines, masking, physical distancing, and hand sanitizing may be required in our studio and waiting areas.
Participants are still welcome to wear masks.
MITE reserves the right to ask participants to wear masks, or take classes online if guidelines change,
if our instructors are feeling the need to do so for their health or for the health of the group,
or if weather issues make driving unsafe or close a MITE facility.

As MITE strives to keep our prices accessible, refunds, unless we cancel a program, are unavailable.
For all classes, MITE reserves the right to cancel a program if a minimum enrolment has not been attained.
