For MITE's Spotlight program, term fees include unusual costume pieces, script/lyric printing, and head shots (if applicable). Family members can attend shows for free! For our touring shows, you will be advised prior to show time if the performance venue cannot accommodate guests.

MITE Theatre started as a volunteer organization for the home-educating community of HRM. If you would like to participate but cost is a factor, please reach out - we may be able to help.

MITE's performance based groups incorporate acting, movement, and/or singing.

For performance groups: all MITE-y Musical Merry-Go-Round performance groups (youth and adult) will perform together on Friday evenings from February - May, 2024. If there are illness concerns or if there is a scheduling conflict, we reserve the right to replace cast members for certain shows.

To be a part of these groups, participants must come regularly, respect the team by coming to classes prepared with lines and lyrics, and be attentive during meetings.

If your child is not comfortable with rehearsing/at home practice/performing, OR if your schedule is such that your child will miss classes, please consider our Brush Up Your Improv class instead.

For all classes, MITE reserves the right to cancel a program
if a minimum enrolment has not been attained.

MITE follows provincial health guidelines and recommendations for COVID-19 safety. Depending on those guidelines, masking, physical distancing, and hand sanitizing
will be required in our studio and waiting areas.

Participants are still welcome to wear masks, no matter which class they join.

In terms when MITE offers in-studio classes, MITE reserves the right to ask participants to wear masks or take classes online if guidelines change, if our instructors are feeling the need to do so for their health or for the health of the group, or if weather issues make driving unsafe or close a MITE facility.

Pardon?! You have one more question? Oh....
Yes, we love having new people join us!

Looking forward to another MITE-Y year!
