Homework

• Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday nights and should average around 40 minutes.

• Students are encouraged to complete their reading log each night. You can use the links below just in case you forget or misplace your chart.

• No more worrying about forgetting that math assignment at school (however convenient it might feel)! The Everyday Math Website can provide the necessary Home Links. **

• Work should be neat and well organized.

• Nightly assignments are an extension of our work/lesson from that particular day. For the students, this helps solidify concepts taught earlier. For me, this helps measure the students' growth and comfort level with the material.

• PLEASE DO NOT CORRECT YOUR CHILD'S ASSIGNMENTS. Because I use homework as a form of assessing their progress, I need an accurate picture of where they're at.

Homework is graded for completion and effort, not accuracy.

Late or forgotten homework will be completed at recess and decrease the averaged grade.

**If you do not have access to a printer, feel free to cut/paste/email OR just hand write your answers on a separate sheet of paper.
