Language Arts

There's so much packed into our curriculum for literacy. Our Reader's Workshop approach is enhanced by read alouds, student-selected novels, and interdisciplinary nonfiction texts. We work on expository, persuasive, and narrative writing techniques.

We encourage independent reading in our classroom and use our nightly reading homework to build study skills, stamina, and foster a positive relationship with reading.
