2024 - 10 Mile OW IS BACK

SATURDAY (08/10/24) @ WAYZATA BEACH

4:30AM           • All Swimmers & Paddlers:  check-in, safety briefing & body marking.

4:45AM           • First wave of 10-Mile (5.5-6 hr seed times)

5:15AM             • Second wave of 10-Mile (< 5.5 hr seed times)

7:45AM            • Midway turn around closes (Excelsior Beach) -- if you miss the cutoff, you may continue with your paddler/escort on your own; this means you may be without event support, and the lake can get busy with boats.

5-Mile Event

6:30AM          • All Swimmers & Paddlers:  check-in, safety briefing, caps, body marking.

7:00AM           • First wave of 5-Mile (3 hr+ seed times)

7:10AM             • Second wave of 5-Mile (2.5 hr - 3 hr seed times)

7:20AM             • Third wave of 5-Mile (< 2.5 hr seed times)

10:00AM          Awards begin (there may still be some swimmers in the water)

11:00AM          Course closes
