How does PayPal Express Checkout work?
You add some products to the bag
click "Checkout with PayPal"
Book Beads redirects you to the secure payment site of PayPal
You sign in with the PayPal account or create a new one
PayPal redirects you back to Book Beads
Book Beads creates a new profile based on information from PayPal and shows the last checkout page
You review your order, change the shipping method if necessary and press "Submit order" button
Book Beads sends request to PayPal in background, PayPal charges your credit card.
Is my Book Beads checkout secure?
Book Beads uses advanced shopping cart software by Ecwid (E-Commerce Widget), powered by Ajax technology, where all sensitive information is transmitted via HTTPS secure protocol during checkout. Ecwid checkout is already secure, hence the site-wide SSL certificate.
When do I get to evaluate shipping costs and/or make changes to shipping?
When a customer goes from this site to Google Checkout or PayPal Express Checkout, Book Beads is not yet able calculate the shipping cost because no shipping address was given yet. After a few steps at Google / PayPal Express Checkout, the customer will be returned to Book Beads to confirm details and finally place the order. The money will change hands only after that. So, the customer that returns from Google / PayPal Express Checkout will see the shipping cost calculation and will be able to select the shipping method and/or make changes to shipping then, before placing the order. I've changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
No. All sales final. Be sure to read through the ENTIRE item description. Every item is painstakingly photographed and described in great detail to minimize confusion.Click here for details.
Why is there a delay in shipping my order out?
1) If an item involves a series of choices, you will be asked to make them during check out. If you do not, I will immediately contact you within 24 hours via e-mail. It is important that you check your e-mail regularly in case there are questions about your order. I am unable to ship anything out until you make a choice and I have no wish to second-guess you. If, after a week has passed and I still haven't heard back from you, to expedite the order, I will randomly choose and proceed with shipment. At this point, no exchanges can be made.
2) If you pay by e-check, your item will ship as soon as payment clears (typically a wait of about 4-5 days).
Why am I being asked for my phone number?
If you bought a customizable, made-to-order item and forgot to make your choices, I will need back-up contact information for you (besides e-mail).
If I have to, I will use directory assistance to attempt to call you - just so you can have a choice and to expedite the order.

Do you take custom requests or orders?
YES, I do. Click CUSTOM ORDERS for details. If it is a series not in my gallery there is a minimum 6 book order and at least a 3 week waiting time. You are welcome to get together with friends/family and combine your requests into a single order (shipped to 1 address) to meet this 6 book minimum. Note that custom orders have to be pre-paid before any work can be done. Lets create!
