There are a few versions of easyDIS out there. I used v44 and know that works. Getting easyDIS working on your computer may be the most time consuming and frustrating thing you have ever experienced. It took me a long time to get it working. There are many forums that can help you get it installed and working. I will include some helpful hints, but beyond that all I can say is good luck! It is beyond the scope of this guide further than that and I don’t have time to help everyone get it working unfortunately. It should be stressed that this will consume a lot of time and may cause frustration levels to rise. If you don’t know anything about editing lines in your hosts file , changing IP addresses, or editing .ini files, and are timid about learning, I do not suggest tackling the install. It is not for the faint of heart.
If you get easyDIS working, the procedure for coding your remote to your car is laid out in detail after the hints section. I have included screen shots and step by step procedure. This is the method I used and know that it works 100%. Additionally, it is possible (both of my remotes were done this way) to code a remote by itself without the transponder chip and cut blade in the remote head. However, you will have to have another key that turns in the ignition in order to do the coding and pairing procedures. GOOD LUCK!
