CHARLES SCHLETZBAUM
Charles achieved his Double Ruby in Policy Debate, Lincoln Douglas, Extemp, Impromptu, and Student congress. Mr. Schletzbaum attended the U of Kentucky Tournament of Champions, competing in Lincoln Douglas. While attending WPI in Worcester, Massachusetts, he assisted the St. Johns Shrewsbury Policy team as an assistant coach. He has a Degree in Physics from Worcester State College and teaches Physics at Milpitas High.
JAMMIE SCHLETZBAUM
Jammie has been attending forensic tournaments for years. While she did not have the opportunity to compete, she has become self-taught after years of extensive judging. She is also a substitute teacher for Milpitas High School.
VICTOR RIVAS UMANA: Public Forum
Victor directs a large private middle school debate academy, in Fremont. Victor has also coached students to the final round at the Tournament of Champions and elimination rounds at Nationals.
Sadaf Zahoor: Lincoln Douglas, Speech
Sadaf has coached for Bay area high schools, private academies, and the Bay Area Urban Debate League. Sadaf coaches our Lincoln Douglas and speech teams.

STEPHEN STEWART
Steven Stewart has been a teacher at Milpitas High School since October, 2004. He teaches Oral Composition, English and American Government. For 34 years prior to teaching, Mr. Stewart had been a member of the California legal community as a trial lawyer and judge. In college Mr. Stewart had competed extensively in speech and debate events and then, as a trial lawyer, in hundreds of adverserial court proceedings throughout his career.
In September 2008, Mr. Stewart determined to commence a competitive speech and debate program at Milpitas High School. The team was launched that month. The program has quickly grown from the original 12 members to the 130-odd members today. Mister Stewart Passed November 27, 2013.
ANNIE MARPLE
Annie Marple teaches English at Milpitas High School. She graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a degree in English. During high school, she competed in Policy and Parliamentary, as well as other district, state, and national speaking events.
