Mike O'Connor

I am a Distinguished Research Scientist at NVIDIA in the Architecture Research group.
Located in the Austin, TX office,  I lead research efforts focused on enabling technologies for high-bandwidth, energy efficient future GPU and AI accelerator memory systems.

I have broad research interests in many areas of computer architecture.

Currently my research focuses on:    

- Improving bandwidth and reducing  energy requirements for DRAM systems

- Architectures and memory systems for AI applications
