磨潤學

磨潤學(tribology)是磨擦(friction)磨損(wear) 與潤滑 (lubrication) 的總稱,它是研究兩個相對運動物體,在接觸面間發生摩擦、磨損與潤滑之物理化學相關現象的科學與技術。任何元件運動時接觸面是機械力、熱量、電子資訊傳遞的媒介,也是影響元件性能展現的主角,並且會引起磨擦、磨損、黏附、熱傳、訊號傳遞等包含表面形貌改變的物理與化學變化。因此磨潤學一般稱為研究界面的跨領域的綜合技術。

研究方向

本實驗室研發主軸是以微觀角度研究並改善接觸面間的溫度、潤滑、摩擦與磨損等性質,並將其應用於精密機械、能源、半導體、生醫與光電等各項產業上,以達到節省能源、提高效率與可靠度,控制界面平穩運轉並且延長使用壽命。

Tribology

Tribology is the science and technology of interacting surface in relative motion and of related subjects and practices. The nature and consequence of the interactions that take place at the interface control its friction, wear, and lubrication behavior. During these interactions, forces are transmitted, mechanical energy is converted, and physical and chemical nature including surface topography of the interacting materials are altered.

Our Goal

Our studies focus on the interfacial properties of temperature, lubrication, friction and wear of contacting surfaces from the viewpoint of microscope. Apply them in the field of precision machine, energy, semiconductor, biomedical and optic-electronic industries.
