Thelemacus is a navigational-astronomy software, which allows to compute one's position on the surface of the Earth, on both land and sea, based on sextant measurements. I personally developed Thelemacus in collaboration with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
Compared to the existing navigational-astronomy softwares, requires the user to enter a smaller amount of data in order to determine his/her position; the assumed position is not needed. Not only this reduces the chances of making errors, but it also increases the accuracy of the result. Also, Thelemacus is conceived to make the user's life easy, and it is designed for an intuitive and ergonomic use.
Thelemacus works on desktop and laptop computers and it is free software with its own license, you can download it
