Plants and animals live in complex ecological associations called habitats. The most common of these in our area are the coastal sage scrub and chaparral vegetation associations.

Map of My Favorite Campgrounds - these are often free or cheap and quite isolated. Many will require you to bring your own water, fuel, food, trash bags, and a shovel for use as a toilet. Do your research before you leave home. Leave no trace of your visit on the land.
