Dr. Michael H. Momeni is a nuclear-environmental Scientist and teacher. He was a lead scientist at Argonne National Laboratory and assisted the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission with the following projects:
- Environmental Impacts of Uranium Mining and Milling Operations;
- Radioactive Waste Management and Radiological Assessment;
- Analysis and projection of radiation-induced cancers from mining and milling operations.

- Dose reconstruction for previously operated uranium mines and mills;
- Internal dosimetry from ingestion or inhalation of airborne radioactivity by man.
