FILLING:
1 can carnation evaporated milk chilled in the coldest part of the refrigerator overnight
1 large box of lime jello
1 8oz bar of cream cheese – softened
¾ cup of sugar
CRUST:
1 packet of graham crackers (crushed)
½ cup of sugar
1 stick of butter
PREPARATION: Melt butter and add to graham crackers and sugar until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the dish, leave ¼ to sprinkle on the top. Everything has to be as cold as possible to achieve the right consistency… chill the evaporated milk overnight, with the bowl and beaters if possible. Dissolve the jello in one cup of hot water (not boiling) and then let it chill as much as it can without gelling. Cream the cheese with the sugar and set aside. Whip the milk until thick, then add jello, then the cheese & sugar mix, then whip until fluffy. Pour into dish, chill immediately until set. Enjoy!
