This page contains web-sites I find most interesting in physics, mathematics, linguistics, philosophy, and etc. Some of them prove useful in my research, but they should not substitute for the the scholarly literature found in journals. I do not think that every internet source is legitimate, since a lot of it is junk and unsubstantiated with extremist ideas that have the potential to distort someone's perception of mainstream intellectual thought. Readers must be reminded that the scholarly online paper, like the New York Times or the Guardian, follow the same marketing obligations found in print articles, or any business run news or media outlet. So it's always good to search for independent opinions, but keep in mind the importance of differentiating between sound and clear arguments, and those that rely on factoids, distortion of data, factual contradictions, and have a persistent record of ignoring the larger context to serve both radicalized ends and special interest.
