Acting President’s Message
As I was walking my neighborhood today listening to WHUD (100.7), I heard an intriguing ad for Bannerman Castle (http://bannermancastle.org/index.html). It mentioned numerous tours and other events associated with it. I thought this might interest some of us who like history. Following is a link to a number of beautiful pictures of it: https://images.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search;_ylt=A0LEVjGRqTBXufoAsioPxQt.;_ylu=X3oDMTE0a2todHBjBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDRkZVSTNDMl8xBHNlYwNzYw--?p=Bannerman+Castle&fr=sfp&hspart=iry&hsimp=yhs-fullyhosted_011 We have had a talk about it in the past. Any interest in a trip to it?
On Sunday, 5/8/16, there was a Health event at the Galleria. at one table I discovered a topical pain cream, Topricin, which later eased some knee pain from my daily 5 mile set of steps. Attached is an ad for this product which has a Rhinebeck address!

We have our Officer elections for 2016-2017 following the luncheon. We need members to step up to take over the following positions: President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President. I have enjoyed serving as President & 1st VP for the past 4 years. I look forward to handing the gavel to someone who will lead us in the future.
The program for the May meeting is: "A Musical Interlude".
Ed McKenna, Past President (2012-2014); 1st Vice President (2015)
Many new links have been added to the "Best of the Hudson Valley" section, thanks to the material Mary has b
een putting out on the table at our meetings. If you click on one of the flyers below you will get a larger view of it or go to Event.
If you have something you would like posted (a Restaurant, a Show or other Entertainment, a Place of Interest, or an Event) please let us know. This can be used just like the bulletin board we had at each meeting for awhile and the info Mary puts on the table at our meetings.
